Spare blades for the VFT Nipper.

Available in three wides. 28,7 mm 29,3 mm and 30,5 mm

All three wides fit all three sizes of nippers,

12" is delivered with 28,7 mm as standard

14" is delivered with 29,3 mm as standard

15" is delivered with 30,5 mm as standard

VFT Denmark Nipper are produced in a different technology than nippers currently on the market. The design, material and hardening make the handles very stable and we expect them to last at least for 4-5 sets of new blades. Made separately from the handles, the blades are made from a completely different metal and go through a separate hardening process. This ensures some very sharp blades with a long durability. Changing blades are easy. They are fixed with a single countersunk bolt each and are replaced without any need for adjustments.
We expect the rivet to be stable for a very long period. If it wears out it will be possible to change it, but that means it needs to be sent to us. The new rivet has to be locked with a special equipment.
The nipper will be available in 3 sizes: 12 ”, 14” and 15 ”.
12 ”will be delivered with 28.7 mm wide blades. 14 "with 29.3 mm and 15" with 30.5 mm. The blades will fit all three handles and can be changed as needed.
That allows you to get a 15 ”racetrack nipper or a 12” with wide blades, or very fast change your nipper from a draft horse nipper to a racetrack nipper.
Handles have a wide surface to minimize the pressure inside the hand. Still the weight is low due to the triangular design.
When the nipper is closed, the contact surface on the handles and the edges of the blades come into contact at exactly the same moment. That detail takes away the pressure from the blades, and at the same time ensures that no hoof pieces can prevent the nipper from closing properly.
