The VFT sledge hammer is made of high quality steel, specifically selected and hardened to ensure a tough durable tool whist reducing the risk of damage.
The ergonomically designed handle is produced using hand picked Canadian hickory; as a result this creates a comfortable handle which provides good grip and durability whilst reducing shock through each hammer blow.
Like the VFT rounding hammers the sledge hammer is also designed with both flat and round hitting surfaces slightly weighted towards the flat for greater accuracy.
